You have to indicate what stain or spot it is in your carpet to distinguish what are the best chemicals or removers you will be using. There are different spot removers in the store today but check first what it really does. It is helpful to check on the internet the other sites that helps you on carpet cleaning. Don't think there is much you can do unless you have a off cut off of the carpet. Then you can cut out where your knees have burnt the carpet oh sorry i mean the iron, then cut a piece out of the off cut of the carpet then patch it as this is what i had done before and you couldn't notice it that much but that maybe because a friend did mine but he is a carpet fitter..

Thanks! :): Stanley Steemer is higher than the company I use. There are other carpet cleaning companies, but find a reputable one and let them clean it, if it is as dirty as you say it is. Once you get it cleaned, you can purchase stain and odor remover for pets at Walmart. It works great. I have my carpets cleaned professionally. I'm always leery of rented cleansers breaking down, leaks etc. Professionals will come in, and usually are out of here in 45 mins. to do our carpets. It is worth having them to do it and do a good job. They have cleaners for pets and also can put a scotch guard spray on after wards. Just look around for some better carpet cleaning companies. Stanley Steemer is good, but they do charge more than some. Good luck on finding what you want.

Q:which is best for a bearded dragon? sand or cage carpet? thanks: Considering Bearded Dragons come from Australia, where they are found in deserts, doesn't sand make sense?

Q:In the corner of my bedroom the carpet smells musty, almost like this mildew moldy smell even the lower part of wall stinks. It has a wooden border (if that helps) the water heater is also on the other side (outdoor patio). I've used baking soda, carpet cleaning spray. The manager had them remove the pad under the carpet only and had it steam clean but all this only seem to mask the smell for a few days. Today the supervisor came and said something about painted the walls. I know what mold/mildew smells like (for I lived in a place that had it for over 3 years) . But the management and there clean crew insists that its nothing. I even had a few friends come over smell the carpet they said it stinks. I don't know what else to do.....any suggestions?: check under the floorboards their may be a dead animal or a human being.

Q:I have a new rug, 6 months old at this point, that constantly sheds. There's 'rug dust' all over the house. It sticks to my daughters feet and even ends up in her diapers. We love the rug and do not want to get rid of it.: I would take it to a rug cleaner and let them clean residual rug fuzzies out to their best ability. Some rugs will shed even after having this done, but this will eliminate a lot of the fuzzies. Vacuum frequently, daily for a while.

I have heard of using oxyclean which I do have but I'd need instuctions. (this rug is VERY large... 10' by 13'). Thank youDanielle: For a rug this large, I suggest using either a foaming cleaner, like Woolite Spray Foam Carpet cleaner or a dry granule cleaner like Capture or Resolve. The both types of cleaners are a simple application. Just spray on the foam, agitate with a brush to work into the fibers, allow to dry and vacuum up. Dry granule, sprinkle on surface and work into the fiber with a brush and let dry, then vacuum. If you have spots or stains, just work either into it with a brush. I like the Woolite because it also contains a scotch guard that leaves a stain repellent and makes cleaning up spills easier without staining.

Q:i get all these fuzz fluffs coming off my wool rug. will it eventually disintegrate into nothing?: Depends what those fluffs are....... uld be natural fluff on the wool, could be broken fibers..............and that's not good. If broken fibers, could be moth damage or other insects living in the wool. Vacuum daily. Have the rug cleaned especially it has had food, animal products, or a lot of foot traffic across it.
